Rose was my best friend. I have witnessed many acts of kindness by her, she was truly a giver. She gave to her family, friends and even strangers. She was a strong, compassionate and empathetic lady. She was very humble but could let you know when you were wrong and accepted, apologized when she was. I was accosted when I was a young man, I believe I was 20 years old. When she found out, her and her husband came to me and helped me through a very difficult time. She brought me food, helped care for my wounds and listened to endless internal scars I carried mentally from the attack. Since her passing there has not been a day I have not thought of her and what a great loss me and others are feeling.

A great "Mom" to every kid in the neighborhood.
I know ALL of her kids, and they're ALL quality human beings.
That was her contribution, and I for one, appreciate that more than anything.
People like to say "Lave a better planet for our children", noble words.
She understood that if you leave better children for the planet, it'd work itself out.
