Rosa's obituary

Rosa Davis went home to Jesus on December 26, 2022 at age 94.

Rosa was born to John Mack and Emma Griffith Warren on July 01, 1929, raised in Houston, Delaware. 

Rosa met Clarence Davis,  they married and went on to have 2 children, Donald and John Davis.  In addition to being a dedicated and loving mother, Rosa also loved everything church (singing, preaching, playing piano and organ) and crocheting for her family and friends.

Throughout her life, she held an unwavering faith in God, which she shared with those who surrounded her. Her compassion was exhibited through her work with Lofland Funeral Home and later as a school bus driver. She was faithful in her former church, Mt. Enon Baptist Church in Milford De as an organist and then joined Kingdom Life Christian Center, founded by her son, the late Donald Davis, Sr.. Mother Davis as she was affectionately known, shared her love of God through teaching, preaching, playing for the church and singing. 

During her final days, she found love, peace and joy in the word she loved so much.

 Rosa joins her siblings, Lillian, Nancy, Elma, Cyrus, David, Edward, Willis, Andrew, Harry and her son, Donald Davis in Heaven. She is survived by her son, John Davis, his wife, Easter,  his children Lillian Harrison, Brandon Horton, John Davis Jr. and Jonathan Green , Donald Davis Sr.'s wife, Mary Ann Davis and the children:  Donald Jr., Debra, Daniel, Darlene, Darnell and Darrell Davis. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and loved ones.
