I was heartbroken when I heard the news of RON's passing. He was such a great friend to me, but we must remember that those we love don't go away, they walk beside us every day.  Praying for the Whitaker family during this difficult time.

Very sorry to hear this news. Ronyell would always come out to catch punts for me at VT and helped me out all the time. Great guy and he will be missed.

I’ll always remember Coach Whit’s contagious positive energy. He was a great guy who gave me so much confidence and always pushed me to be the best version of myself.

Our kids adored Whit and he came, on multiple occasions, to cheer them on at their supporting events. He was a bright light and we’ll miss him.
