Ronnie's obituary

Ronnie Taylor Jr passed away June 25,2025 at Poppen House Muskegon following a stroke and brain injury.

He was born July 31st 1968 to Mary Joyce (Walker) Taylor and Ronnie Lavern Taylor Sr.

He grew up in Twin Lake, Mi, and graduated in 1986 from Whitehall High School.

He worked various places including Howmet, Adac and his last employer Miller Knoll where he was well liked by many .

Ronnie appreciated living in various cities like Atlanta and Detroit , then returning to Muskegon to live the rest of his life.

He enjoyed trips to places like Las Vegas, Mackinac Island ,Texas  and New Orleans as well as cherished fun times with friends and family, boating or “up north” at a cabin. Any opportunity to drive to a beach and enjoy the sunset was his vibe.

He was an avid, enthusiastic Fan of the University of Michigan and  a devoted, unwavering fan of the Detroit Lions .

Those fortunate to have met him and had a discussion with him undoubtedly liked him instantly. He was a great friend and advisor , always genuinely listening .

Ronnie was easy going, humble  yet strong and supportive. He laughed easily and loved his family deeply. Ronnie, known as “June”or “June bug” by old friends and family talked often of living in the country, playing in the woods and by Goose Egg Lake.

He is survived by his Mother, Mary Taylor, his brother Stephen Taylor, His fiancée/Partner Regina Torres. His children Janiece Levelston, Sidnie Santigo, Deziray Taylor, Dana Taylor ,grand children Isaiah and Lailah. He will missed by best friend/Step brother Phillip Williams and “step-grandson” Andrew Keeton and special family Royal Ferrand.

Cremation has taken place.
