Ronnie Lee Morgan Sr., a beloved resident of New Orleans, Louisiana, passed away on June 5, 2023, at the age of 68. He was born on May 22, 1955, in Ferriday, Louisiana, to the late Gevieve Wheeler. Ronnie leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and cherished memories.

Ronnie was a devoted husband to his late wife, Barbara Ann Stacker, who preceded him in death. Together, they built a beautiful life and shared many joyous moments. From their union came three children, who were the pride and joy of their lives. Tragically, their daughter Latrice Burnadette Morgan passed away at birth, leaving a void that could never be filled. Ronnie is survived by his two living children, Ronnie Lee Morgan Jr. (age 46) and Bonnie Monique Orr (age 27).

In addition to his children, Ronnie embraced and loved two stepchildren, Trina and Terry Marshall, as if they were his own. His capacity for love and care extended beyond biological boundaries, and he welcomed them into his heart as family.

Ronnie found great joy in being a grandfather, and his seven grandchildren brought him immeasurable happiness. He leaves behind Rynisha Monique Jackson, Ronnie Latrice Morgan, Caden J. Orr, Ava K. Orr, Olivia M. Orr, Legend Orr, and a great-grandson, whose presence brought a twinkle to his eye.

Family was of utmost importance to Ronnie, and he maintained strong bonds with his siblings throughout his life. He leaves behind his sister, Bonnie Brown of Los Angeles, California, and his brother, Ralph Moungle of Dallas, Texas. Ronnie's nephews, Dominique Moungle and Wesley Moungle, and his niece, Raven Moungle, held a special place in his heart, and he cherished the time spent with them.

Ronnie Lee Morgan Sr. will be remembered for his kind heart, unwavering love, and warm presence. He touched the lives of many with his generosity and selflessness. His spirit will live on through the memories he created and the love he shared.

A memorial service to celebrate Ronnie's life will be held on July 6th at Heritage Funeral Directors on 4101 St Claude Ave, New Orleans, LA 70117. Family and friends are invited to gather together to honor his memory and find solace in each other's company.
