Ronnie Maston, 83, of Bedford, Texas, passed away on October 30, 2022.

Ron was born on May 21,1939 to Lois and Harry Maston in Wellington, OK. Ron graduated from Marlow High School in 1957. After graduation, he landed his first job at Western Electric. In 1992, he met Alberta, and they wed in 1993. Ron is survived by his son Bruce & wife Diana Maston, Grandson Chad Maston, Grandson Kyle Maston, Step daughter Ingrid Read, Step daughter Zabrina Hood, Granddaughter Bailey Johnson, Great Grandson Christopher Lovell, Great Granddaughter Amelia Lovell. His family meant a great deal. He was unendingly proud of being PopPop and loved playing with the grand babies. Ron was also a passionate about writing his western romance novels, and could often be found on his computer rewriting them once they were completed. You could always find him with a Coca-Cola nearby; he had a least 6 a day since he was 12 years old, at the drug store that his mother worked at in Butler, OK.

Anyone who knew Ron knew that he was a loving father and husband and a family could not ask for more. The family requests that all flowers and notes are sent to T & J Family Funeral Home. There will be a public viewing for the friends on 11/9/2022 @1:00 PM and the funeral service will be on 11/10/2022 @ 11:00 AM at T & J Family Funeral Home 1856 Norwood Plaza, Hurst, TX 76054 817-952-3128. He will be laid to rest in Haskell, TX immediately following the funeral.
