Ron's obituary

Ronnie "Ron" Hicks, a loving father and devoted brother, passed away on September 17, 2020, at the age of 77. Born on February 24, 1943, Ron was known for his deep spirituality and unwavering dedication to caring for his family.

He is survived by his daughter, Cheryl Hermansen, who will always remember her father's wise teachings about the importance of friendliness and spirituality. These lessons were integral to the manner with which Ron approached life, and the way he touched the lives of everyone around him.

One of Ron's most notable accomplishments was providing continuous care and support for his brother, Jack, who was in Napa State Hospital. This act of compassion speaks volumes about the type of person he was - someone who put the well-being of his loved ones above his own, and never shied away from his responsibilities and commitments.

In his lifetime, Ron shared a wealth of wisdom, love, and friendship with those he encountered, and his memory will forever be cherished by his family and friends. His spiritual light will continue to guide Cheryl Hermansen and the rest of his family as they carry on his legacy.
