Ron Marion Arndt passed away on June 8, 2023 at the age of 80, in Nampa, Idaho. His battle with serious medical issues in recent years showed his courage in facing life challenges with a smile and a laugh. Despite the pain, Ron came out a hero and stayed strong until the end.

Ron served in the USMC for a number of years and had to leave due to the start of a battle with medical issues. He always looked back at his time serving with a peace in his heart.

Ron met Mary Elizabeth while dancing drunk with a chair and they were soon married and raised three children together, Traci, Andrew and Emily.  

Ron was a Foreman at Fleetwood for many years before taking a position working at Selkirk Metalbestos. He was at the fore-front within the organization at getting his fellow employees unionized. He used his artistic skills to create posters and flyers for his employees to use and pass out while the union was in it’s early stages.

As avid lead-pencil artist, Ron dedicated his off-time to perfecting his artistic craft. He often entered his creations into completions and displays at the county fair, taking away many first and second-place prizes.

Ron will be honored in a celebration of life on June 24, 2023.
