Rondall's obituary

Rondall Allen Phillips sadly passed away Thursday October 24,2019 in Forsyth Medical Center (Winston Salem NC) from complications with brain cancer.
He was preceded in death by his Mother Kathleen,Father Marvin
Brother in law Jim Jenkins, and grandparents. He is survived by Sister Diane Shaver (Alvin) Sister Debbie Tadlock, Brother Mike Phillips (Harley Bones), two additional sisters, a host of nieces and nephews friends, and a special niece he always referred to as his favorite Shanda Lotharp (Norman).
He was born on March 30,1947 to the late Marvin and Kathleen Phillips. Due to the death of his mother at a young age Ron was raised by paternal grandparents Baron and Della Phillips who spoiled him on banana sandwiches, hamburgers, and Pepsi Cola.
At the age of 18 he was drafted into the military(Army) which began his life of travel. Ronnie (as lovingly known by his family) travel and lived in Texas, Biloxi MS, Florida, Myrtle Beach SC, and Conway SC before settling in Monroe NC. Known in Union County as "Ron" he was a taxi driver who as he would always say "hauled many people here and there and a little bit of everywhere" . Ron had many friends over the years and would help anyone in any way he could whether it be loaning money, lending a hand or just being someone to listen.
Celebration of his life will commence Saturday November 23,2019 @2:00p.m. at Grace United Methodist Church (3522 Secrest Short Cut Rd, Monroe NC 28110).
Until we meet again I will miss my Uncle RRROOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEE!
