How you can help
I'd like to thank those who took time out to read our story. My loving mother was taken by ambulance to st.marys hospital March 17th 2023 due to a major heart attack and was on life support for 4 days. She survived it! She spent 2 weeks in the hospital but was doing so good in her progress to recover. She Managed to make it off all machines, tubes, and IVs! She was so strong through it all and was doing so well that she was scheduled to come home this last week. But on the morning of my birthday the 27th she was given a shot too which she had a severe allergic reaction to and it send her back into surgery for 9hrs. The next morning on March 28th, she suffered a major stroke that sent her into cardiac arrest and her heart stopped. It took it 20 min to revive her which left her whole left side of her brain severely damaged and left her completely paralyzed. She was put back on life support. The Dr. Told us we had a hard decision to make. We weren't prepared for having to make that choice and was the hardest thing this family had to do. This last Sunday on the 2nd we had to let her go and pull the life support plug. Our family is truly devastated as she was our whole world she left behind her husband, 7 children, 5 grandchildren. We are trying to raise money to help pay for her cremation and to be buried next to her mother. Anything truly helps and will greatly be appreciated.Thank you from our family from the bottom of our hearts.
