Ronda's obituary
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Ronda Bereki, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Ronda was born on October 18, 1962, and left us too soon on October 5, 2023.
Ronda is survived by her five children, Jennifer Garcia, Kristin Bolin, Derek Bereki, Jessica Depue, and Branden Bereki. Throughout the years, she was also blessed with a growing brood of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, each of whom she loved deeply and unconditionally.
Ronda had a zest for life and a passion for many things. She loved the simplicity and flavors of Mexican food, the sweetness of German chocolate cake, and savored her coffee and chai tea. Ronda had a particular fondness for paranormal romance novels, country music, and enjoyed watching Law and Order: SVU. Disney movies always held a special place in her heart, and she felt a sense of serenity from diamond paintings.
An avid Chargers fan, Ronda also liked playing Yahtzee and Gin rummy. She found joy in crocheting and going to the beach. As an active individual, she enjoyed walking and her favorite vacation spot was the beach. She had a compassionate heart and was deeply passionate about causes like domestic violence and women's heart health.
Ronda was best described as generous, kind, funny, strong, and courageous. She taught us all how to be a good mom and her family was her greatest accomplishment. Her legacy will be one of kindness and love.
Her favorite color, a reflection of her vibrant personality, was green. In lieu of flowers, funds are being raised for "Ronda's last wishes" and the family deeply appreciates any support.
Ronda touched the lives of many and will be sorely missed. Her memories and teachings will continue to live on in the lives of those she left behind.
