Today I was emailed by everloved, this site, asking for a funny story... a funny moment shared between me and my father. Crazy...couldn't think of much, he was a quite man and rarely laughed. But when he did he had a very Eddie Murphy type laugh... he wasn't a joker, or a comedy lover at all, infact, I think comedy annoyed him, unless it was something stupid that involved Chevy chase. But!!!!!!! The number one thing that ALWAYS MADE HIM SMILE!!!!!!!! his grandkids... small things to big things, cute things and silly things.... always no matter what put a smile on that man's face. His best bud also put a grin on his face... Helmut.. so thanks to my nieces and nephews, Helmut.. and the other few who guaranteed to make dad smile... im pretty all I did was raise his blood pressure! Lol miss you dad, still feels like your coming back some day... love you

Wish you were here dad. I miss you, I’ll Never stop missing you. And if I’m lucky enough to live till I’m 81, just like you, I can tell you now, I’ll still miss you even when I breath my last breath….then…….hopefully……we will meet again,

Your daughter

Maryellen

To Dawn and family, we are so sorry for your loss. Ron was such a committed volunteer at the Gloucester Emergency Food Cupboard. We will miss his gentle humour on Friday mornings.
Ron’s friendship in business and in life touched many. He will be fondly remembered and sadly missed.

My Sympathy to all of Ron's extended Family.

I worked with Ron for many years and learned a great deal about Contract Law from him. I enjoyed our long conversations on a wide range of subjects and was proud to consider him a friend.

After Ron left TeleSat and I moved to Hong Kong our paths diverged and, sadly, never crossed again.

I do hope Ron's family can take comfort that he was well respected as a Professional and a really decent Human Being.

My heart is heavy for you all, and I am deeply sorry for your loss. I can't imagine the pain you are all feeling right now. Please know that I am here for all of you.

I will forever cherish the moments I had with him and carry those memories with me. My love and thoughts are with you all as you navigate this profound loss.

With live and deepest sympathy,

Luc
