Not only was he a consultant for schools he was also a mentor, friend, and encouragement for many men and women. He was truly interested and vested in the lives of others and how he could encourage and help them. One friend shared, " he always presented a positive perspective even in the midst of sensitive and difficult situations." He desired to see and help other leaders grow. He was kind and wise, a good listener and had an amazing ability to ask all the good questions that always encouraged others to look at all sides of an issue, concern or decision.

He loved the Lord and he loved people and he was very invested and concerned for others. He loved his family and made every effort to invest and know what was going on each part of their lives. If he wasn't on his computer preparing an excel spreadsheet or planning, he spent his time reading and catching up on sports.
