Ronald's obituary

Ronald Similien, 36, passed away on January 14, 2025, at Wellington Regional Hospital. Born on March 16, 1988, Ronald was a cherished son, brother, and friend known for his vibrant spirit and unwavering determination. He was a well-respected figure in the track and field community and was admired for his dedication and passion for the sport.

Ronald had been training tirelessly to represent Haiti in the Olympics, a dream that fueled his love for track and field. Beyond the track, he had a deep affection for cars and firearms, hobbies that reflected his adventurous nature. Ronald was known for his favorite saying, "Stay Dangerous," which perfectly captured his fearless approach to life.

He leaves behind a loving family who will forever hold his memory close: his mother, Ghislaine Tanisma; his father, Cherisnel Similien; his sisters, Kehatilde Prophete, Bethune Similien, and twins Shedeline and Shedenah Similien; and his brothers, Jeffrey Lucas and Gamaliel Prophete.

Ronald’s legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He was a light of inspiration, and his impact on the track and field community and beyond will not be forgotten.

Ronald’s life will be celebrated on February 1, 2025, at 2424 N. Congress Ave, Suite G, West Palm Beach, FL 33409. Family, friends, and the community are invited to come together to honor and remember the extraordinary life of Ronald Similien.
