Ronald's obituary

Keith Pedigo, a devoted father, proud grandfather, and lifelong public servant, lived a life marked by integrity, dedication, and love for family. His unwavering commitment to helping others and his presence in the lives of those he cherished will be remembered forever.

Born May 31, 1945, in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, to Ronald Keith Pedigo (1921–1982) and Edith Beryl Graffis Pedigo (1921–2006), Keith spent his early years in Milton, Indiana, before moving to Roseville, Michigan. He graduated from high school there and later attended Michigan State University as a proud first-generation college student. Keith was drafted during the Vietnam War and served honorably while stationed in Berlin, Germany.

He dedicated 38 years of his career to the Department of Veterans Affairs, including 22 years in senior executive positions. Most of his work focused on the VA Home Loan Program, where he served 21 years as National Director of the Loan Guaranty Program. In the final 18 months of his career, Keith held the role of Associate Deputy Under Secretary for Policy and Program Management, overseeing VA benefit programs nationwide.

Keith was previously married to Patricia Anne Russell and was predeceased by his beloved son, Allen Keith (1979–2009).

He was a devoted father and grandfather, always present at school events, sports games, and family gatherings. He is survived by his daughter Elizabeth "Beth" Anderson (David), his son Mark Gregory (Kaitlyn), and four cherished grandchildren: Patrick, Cooper, Claire, Oliver, and one on the way. He is also survived by his loving siblings, Mary Joan Price and Gregory Lee Pedigo.

Keith's legacy of service, kindness, and devotion to family will live on in the lives he touched and the values he instilled.
