Obituary for Ronald Anthony Monachino

Ronald Anthony Monachino, 77, passed away peacefully on March 18, 2026, in Lakeland, Florida, due to natural causes related to dementia. He was born on May 9, 1948, in Cleveland, Ohio.

Ronald was a proud graduate of Valley Forge High School and went on to build a long and dedicated career in the produce industry, where he worked for over 30 years. He was known for his strong work ethic and commitment, contributing his talents to Fazio’s, Rini-Rego’s, and Publix.

Outside of work, Ronald had a deep love for sports, especially baseball. He was a devoted fan of the Tampa Bay Rays and the Cleveland Indians. Known for his quick wit, he always had a perfect one-liner ready, bringing humor and light to those around him. He also loved music of all kinds and especially enjoyed dancing whenever he had the chance.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony Monachino and Theresa Gennaro.

Ronald is survived by his loving family, including his sister Linda (David) Torok; his sister Francine (Chris) Sezonov; his brother Tony (Connie) Monachino; his brother Brent (Carrie) Monachino; his brother Wesley (Donna) Monachino; and his brother Darrin Monachino.

He is also survived by his children: Troy Monachino (Deanna Kaiser); Chris Monachino (Michelle Young) and Ronald Monachino Jr. His legacy continues through his grandchildren, Nickolas Monachino (Jasmine Monachino), Joseph Monachino, and his great-grandson, Dominick Monachino.

Ronald will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his years of hard work, his sense of humor, and the lasting impact he made on all who knew and loved him.
