Ronald Paul Leslie Sr. of Villa Ridge Mo, passed away on February 10 2025, at the age of 83, Born on November 27 1941 in St Louis Mo. Ron was a true gear head with a lifelong passion for race cars fast motorcycles & mechanics. He spent most of his life fixing things, always finding a way to make it faster, stronger, better.
In the 1970s Ron built one of the fastest race cars to ever hit the streets of St Louis a black 1972' Vega station wagon with a V-8 engine, nitrous & wheelie bars that was fully street legal. His popularity and legendary racing skills earned him a feature in Car Craft Magazine's "Cruisin in the USA." Ron loved going fast, whether on the race track or riding motorcycles.
Ron was married to his beloved wife Janet Palmer Leslie, for 38 years. He was survived by his two daughters, Kimberly Adcock and Leann Heuslmann and her husband Anthony Heuslmann, along with his cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his stepdaughter Alisa Scott & stepson Kevin Palmer as well as step grandchildren.
Ron was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. His love for his family, racing, motorcycles, and fixing anything with an engine will never be forgotten. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
