Ronald's obituary
Born in New Jersey to Ralph and Jean Kwasniewski, Ron was a hardworking and good natured son. He graduated in 1969 from Northern Highlands Regional High School. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War, afterward he moved to Southern California to attend college and work as a maintenance supervisor in a Nursing Facility. He completed an administrator in training program and received an AA degree. He was a licensed Nursing Home Administrator in Northern California for many years before semi-retiring. He was diagnosed with cancer in 2014 and continued to work as a long haul truck driver before taking on a post as a security guard for Elite Security in Yuba City. He worked within his community making many friends. Anyone who knows or worked with Ron, has experienced his quick and easy friendship. Ron was a loving and caring father who showed his children how to have fun and enjoy life with trips to the lake, to boat and camp, and Disneyland, to be silly, sing, and go on rides. He was supportive of his children throughout their lives and was always there for a laugh and a strong hug.
Ron is survived by his siblings, Ralph Jr., Robert, Richard, and Sandra, his children, Steven, Lindsey, and Ashley, and three grandchildren, and many close friends.
A celebration of life will be held in Marysville at Ellis Lake in April. Please check back or contact the family for details.
