Ronald's obituary

Ronald Klingaman aged 74, fondly known amongst family and friends for his profound love for his wife, daughters, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, passed away on February 25, 2025. Born on October 6, 1950, Ronald grew up one of eight brothers and sisters in Elizabeth, NJ.

Ronald served in the United States Air Force as a Medic. He was extremely proud of his service and had an immense love for this country which he instilled into his daughters.

He later married Arlene Joan (Kersis) Klingaman in November of 1973.

He was lovingly known to his grandchildren as "Pops" or "The Captain".

Ronald is survived by his wife, Arlene Klingaman, his two daughters, Alexis Herring and Kristin Opperman, and his son-in-laws, Jeremy Herring and Michael Opperman. He also leaves behind his grandchildren Jake Herring, Dylan Herring, Aviana Opperman, and Raiden Opperman. He is also survived by his sisters, Kathy Klingaman, Lorene Knierim, Bunny June Meloni, Dee Klingaman and his brother Kenneth Klingaman. He was predeceased by his parents Kenneth and Dee Klingaman and his brothers Bruce and Glenn Klingaman. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Ronald will be held on March 29, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Fanwood Presbyterian Church 74 S. Martine Ave, Fanwood NJ. Let us come together on this day to honor his beautiful spirit and the joy he spread in his life journey. His loving memories will forever guide us, helping us to cherish every moment as he did.

While Ronald's physical presence is no longer amidst us, his aura of love and his teachings of life will continue to live within us, providing solace and encouragement as we navigate through our own life narratives.
