Background
Ron Grant touched many lives with his generous spirit, love of connection, and passion for his roots in Nezperce, ID. One of his favorite places as a child and adult was the Nezperce pickleball, tennis, and basketball courts, where he spent time playing, laughing, and connecting with his family and friends.
We want to honor Ron’s memory in a way that reflects the life he lived. Active, inclusive, and heart centered. This fund is an opportunity to continue that legacy.
All funds raised will go toward the remodeling and improvement of the community courts in Nezperce, Idaho, to be dedicated in Ron’s honor. This includes resurfacing, equipment upgrades, and enhancements to make the space more welcoming and accessible to all ages.
Ron believed in showing up for people. These courts will now show up for this community, in his name, for years to come.
The entire Nezperce community will benefit from this project. The updated courts will serve as a space for play, connection, and exercise, especially for youth and families in the area.
This project also offers Ron’s loved ones a place to return to and remember him, in a location he deeply cherished.
Ron spent his final days surrounded by love in Nezperce, in the home of his cousins Mike and Kim Ingram, who are leading this effort. Their compassion and commitment to Ron’s comfort and dignity in his final days has inspired this tribute.
