Ronald's obituary
Born November 8, 1949 in Columbus, Ohio, he was the son of the late John H. Gearheart Sr. and Mary J. Gearheart (Buchanan). Also proceeded in death by his brothers, John H. Gearheart Jr. and William L. Gearheart.
He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Kimberly Gearheart (Allen); son, Ronald Gearheart Jr.; daughters, Nannette (Todd) King, Tiffany Love, and Brittany Gearheart; sisters, Theresa (Art) Minnehan and Julie (Greg) Smith; and five grandchildren, Amber, Zachary, Jordan, Adison and Sophie; as well as many nieces and nephews.
A special thank you to the doctors, nurses and Hospice team at AdventHealth Daytona Beach Hospital. In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made in Ronald’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
There will be a short memorial service performed on February 8, 2019 at The Cape Canaveral National Cemetery, 5525 US Highway 1 Mims, FL 32754 (please park in lane A) at 10:00am, followed by a reception at Olive Garden Italian Restaurant, 5447 S Williamson Blvd. Port Orange, FL 32129 at 12:00pm.
