Ronald John DesRoches, 82, of Mechanicsburg, PA, passed away peacefully on February 21, 2026. Born on April 16, 1943, in New Hampshire, Ronald lived a life marked by devotion to his family and a deep connection to his church community.

Ronald is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Andrea DesRoches; his son Matthew DesRoches and daughter-in-law Denise; his daughter Melissa McElwee and son-in-law Jim; and his cherished grandchildren Jarod, Jacob, and Megan. His love for his family was unwavering and evident in every aspect of his life.

Ronald found joy in woodworking, gardening, and cooking. Whether crafting something with his hands, helping in the garden, or trying out new recipes, he poured care and dedication into everything he did.

Ronald was a devoted member of Mountain Ridge Church, where he treasured the fellowship of his church family. His faith was an integral part of his life and provided him with strength and purpose.

Ronald’s legacy is one of love, kindness, and commitment to those he held dear. May the memories of his life bring comfort to all who knew him. A Celebration of Life will be held on April 18, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 04:00 PM at Mountain Ridge Church, 32 Big Dam Road, Dillsburg, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to either Mountain Ridge Church or to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation.
