Ronald's obituary
Ronald was the eldest son born to Alphonso L. Carrington and Florence M. Carrington on January 20, 1940 in Lincoln Hospital, Bronx, N.Y Parents proceeding in death. Ronald was the eldest of seven siblings, brother Walter deceased, sisters Judith Baker ( Springfield, S.C,) Cheryl Carrington deceased, Nadine Sapia (Bronx, N.Y), Gail Ruiz, Bronx, N.Y, Laurette Roberts, Savannah, Ga, Yvette Carrington Bronx, N.Y Ronald resided in the Bronx until he enlisted in Air Force August 1958, he received an Honorable discharge March 1962. Ronald attended Food and Maritime Trades Vocational High School and went on to become a chef! 1966 he welcome his precious daughter Rhea Carrington (Bronx, N.Y) she was is only child. Ronald leaves to mourn 5 sisters, daughter and 3 grandchildren, and 7 great grand children and a host of loves ones Ronald’s biggest passion in life was music. Ronald was self taught. An avid [Saxophone, Clarinet and piano player, he spent countless hours perfecting his ability. Ronald played in band and frequently performed solo at various venues. A career spanning over a number of years until his demise, he. Ronald also taught at University of Southern Calif. (Fullerton, Ca.)
