It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ronald Brownell, beloved husband, father, brother, and grandfather, on January 27, at the age of 65.

Born in East Boston, he was a dedicated home contractor and was known for his love of the New England Patriots, muscle cars, exotic fish, he was a talented artist, and loved being at his daughter Victoria’s softball games and cheering her on.

Ron is survived by his beloved wife, Christine Brownell, sister Cheryl Miller of Saugus, brother Chuckie Brownell of Revere, children, the late Stephen Reed of East Boston, Jimmy Reed of East Boston, Scott Reed of East Boston, Victoria Brownell of Kissimmee, and Carla Hannon wife of Derek Hannon of Saint Cloud, and his grandchildren, Brooke Romeo, Krystiana Romeo, and Lucas Hannon.

He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
