2026, Delair Elementary School, Derousse Avenue, Pennsauken, NJ, USA
Today I visited Delair and read to Ms. Gillis’s first grade class. As soon as I walked in I can remember Ron in the lunchroom getting ready for the students. He was such a wonderful young man. He, Mrs. Soukup and I celebrated our March birthdays. Will never forget his children and his mother Rita. Precious memories!💖 Retired Principal Sandy Davis
Ron was a great guy and made our time working at old Delair together enjoyable. I will always remember his kindness and fun loving nature. My thoughts are with you all and so sorry for your loss.
To Ron’s family, I was deeply saddened to hear of this great loss. My heart and prayers are with you. I first met Ron at Delair School. He was truly a wonderful person who loved his family. I had the privilege of knowing his children and mother. What a beautiful family! It was a pleasure to work with Ron and I will never forget him.
My condolences to Rosalie and family. Ron was a good neighbor and nice guy. I was shocked and saddened at his passing. The neighborhood will truly miss him.
Ron , was one of my closest friends, I was saddened to hear of his passing, I still find it hard to believe. We knew each other all of our lives and did many things together I will always remember Going to Flyers and Phillies games together and playing street hockey and baseball together in our youth, I will miss him very much . Ron was a very good man !!!
Ron was an all around great guy. Kind, funny and would give you the shirt off his back. I have a lot a fond memories of the kids playing together as they watched wrestling or we took them all to a wrestling event in the area. Ron was a very special person and an awesome dad. He will be truly missed. The entire family is in our thoughts.
Dear Heather and Family, I am so very sorry to here of your father's passing. Although I work in the school district, I never had the pleasure of meeting him. Heather, you may not remember me but we worked together for a brief time at Franklin (I was the secretary during the time you were there). Many years ago! Again, I am sorry to hear of his passing and will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers. Sincerely, Patty Hartson
I don't know many people you come across in life that nobody has a bad word to say about. Ron may be the kindest person I've ever known. He was the first time I met him when we were small children to the day he left us way too soon. Everybody that has ever known him will miss him dearly. His good nature and kindness will stay with us forever. Rest peacefully, my friend. ❤️
Ron was always a kind person. When my child was in Delair elementary school, he caught them writing on the wall of the building in the playground. Ron came to us and told us. Well it was at that time our child realized mom knows a lot of people. Ron being the kind and gentle man he was did not yell at them. Instead he explained why it wasn’t right to do it. It made my child realize they were making more work for him and went down on a Saturday and removed it themself. Ron you will always be remembered as a wonderful person. May you be at peace my friend. You have touched the lives of so many children in your lifetime thank you for being the man you were. God bless you and your family. Love and prayers from the DeSanto family in Delair.
I could go on for hours talking about how wonderful a person Ron was (and always will be.) He was an amazing father, friend and human being. We were friends for nearly 30 years and I considered him one of my closest friends. We went to collectible shows, concerts, sporting events and so much more. From his obsession with sports figures to the band Chicago, spending time with Ron was always a good time. He was always there for a friend in need, no matter how big or small the need was. My entire family loved Ron and will miss him very much. I could go on and on, but I'll end it with, I am a better person for knowing Ron for the past 30 years and I'm thankful for that. I do know he can rest in peace knowing his children will carry on his legacy and will continue to make him proud, as they have every day of their lives. Goodbye for now, old friend. There is a hole in our hearts that will never be filled, but we're fortunate to have had you in our lives.
Ro, Heather, Erik and Ryan, Ron was one of my favorite people, ever. He was loving, generous and thoughtful. He loved you all very much. He was my first friend when I came to Pennsauken. We talked about everything, but especially music. While I don’t quite see the love for Chicago, Journey and Elton John, I get. I’ll miss a lot of things about him, but mostly I’ll miss the way he loved his Baldwin girls and his “work grand babies”.
What a kind, sweet, thoughtful man. We are so saddened by Ron’s passing. We will always remember our rivalry with Ron, his beloved Flyers and our Devils. The day he wrapped Skip’s Cadillac in Flyers stuff! What a great, funny friend. We will miss you, Ron. Our thoughts and prayers to Rosalie, Heather & Robert, Eric and Ryan.
Rosalie,Heather,Ryan,Eric& Rob, We are so so sorry we cannot attend Ron’s memorial. Our thoughts and our prayers are with your entire family. Ron was a wonderful person and loved his family. He will be missed by so many. ❤️❤️❤️🌹🌹
