I first met Ron back in 1983. I was 21. I met him at a pig roast/ luau, hosted by mutual friends enlisted in the Army and stationed at Ft. Ben.
At the time, he was the General’s helicopter pilot and was a very very dedicated pilot.
He had to call it a night early because he had an early flight with the General.
We had talked quite a bit about ourselves and were getting to know each other, and so he recognized that I lived in the apartment community near Ft. Ben.
As he said good bye for the night, he promised he would “stop by” and “wave” to me the following morning...I thought he was kidding. Well, early the next morning I woke to hear an approaching helicopter 🚁..It was soooo load, I thought it might be landing in the parking lot!!! I ran outside onto my 2nd floor apartment balcony and looked up to see Ron “waving” with his helicopter blades WOPPING so loudly overhead. I think he might have woken the entire complex lol 😆.
We dated for about 1 1/2 years...some of the best memories of my life! He was so very fun, funny, silly and cool, all at the same time!
We loved to listen to all different styles of music and would dance, and he would play the BEST air guitar 🎸 I have ever seen!
We parted ways as friends...I never thought we would cross paths again...but 36 years later, he found my profile on facebook and sent me a sweet/funny message
We reconnected on facebook, and then via phone, last fall and realized nearly immediately that we had a very deep soul connection!! We were best friends and soulmates, simply waiting for the covid pandemic 😷 to subside so we could actually reconnect in person! He was in Arizona and I in Indiana. We talked for hours every day and we were so happy that we found each other! we made countless plans and laughed so hard at our silly and funny ideas and plans for our “next chapter” as Ron would say. Our reunion was cut so very short with Ron’s untimely passing.. I will love 💕 him and miss him for the rest of my days, but I will always always cherish, with every fiber of my being, that we did find each other and were able to talk every day for months on end!! We lived a lifetime through those months, even though we had no idea that our journeys would separate us again...I will see you in heaven Ron..I will look into your big blue eyes and we will dance and you will entertain me with your air guitar 🎸 skills again one day...You were such a sweet, happy, funny, smart, talented beautiful soul and I am blessed to have known you❤️ All my love, Caitilin Seidensticker
I just received the news of Ron's passing. I have known Ron since 1999 in Maricopa. Ron has been a part of our real estate team at AZ New Horizon Realty since 2016.
On behalf of AZ New Horizon Realty, we send our deepest condolences. Ron was a valued member of our team and office. He always had a big smile when he came in the office and wonderful stories of his military and pilot days. God Bless you Ron you will be missed.
We will never forget our trip out to Arizona when we all went out to California then Nevada then the Grand Canyon. What a wonderful trip so many laughs and so many great memories. Ron was a great tour guide but it was all done in love. Amanda and I were celebrating our 50th birthday and boy did we celebrate and our husbands were all to happy to help. RIP Ron we will surely miss you❤️
I have know Ron since 1972. He took me to US 30 dragstrip one Saturday as a date. We had so much fun!! On the way home his car engine blew. He had to call his dad to come and get us plus the car. His dad accused him of dragging his car. He did not do that but his dad would not listen. Ron will be missed by a lot of people. My prayers are with all of you!! God Bless
