It was Sunday day before Labor day in 1978 - Ronnie and I slept on the parking lot floor at Anaheim Stadium as Monday was Labor day to get onto the infield and see - Sammy Hagar, Van Halen, Black Sabbath, and Boston. By the time Boston had come in we were fried and dehydrated. We left in the middle of Boston both with sun-poisonings but had to get to Vickie's and Alans to party... It was a great weeeknd prior to my leaving for the US Navy..

Ron and I met as cub scouts in the late 60's and as young elementary school students we were best of friends. His father married my mother shortly thereafter.
Ron and I as kids would play baseball in his room with baseball cards, it was a game we concocted by choosing baseball cards and use them to field and hit with. It was one of my great memories as a youth. The great thing was we made it up.
Although a sad time we all are so grateful that Ron will finally have peace, something he did not get to experience much while with us on earth! ❤️
Ron will be missed, I love you dear brother may paradise be your happy place.
