Obituary
Captain (Ret.) Romeo Celestial passed away peacefully on March 29, 2020 in Banning, CA.
He was born in the Philippines on Aug 5, 1936, retired as a Captain from the Philippine Navy, immigrated to the USA in 1981, and worked as an Examiner for the CA DMV (1990-2004).
Romy is survived by his wife Rowena, his son Royce, his granddaughters Asia and Megan, and his siblings Conrado (Addie) & Eleanor (Baby).

Event details
Memorial events are private
On April 11, 2020, we boarded a yacht, sailed off, and scattered Romy's ashes in the waters of San Diego Bay, just off the Cabrillo Monument in Point Loma. We were blessed with a lovely day with calm seas and fair winds.

Thank you all again for your thoughts & prayers, your kind words, your love gifts, the memories of Romy you shared with us, and for all the support you've given our family in this time of grief. The outpouring of love and encouragement has been overwhelming in the best of ways, and very much appreciated.
