It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Romelia Roche. She was born on July 23, 1944 in Tegucigalpa, Honduras and left us on May 31, 2023 in Far Rockaway Queens, New York. Romelia was a caring, comedic, and straight forward women who touched the lives of many with her warmth and love.

Romelia is survived by some siblings, her son, Marvin Roche; daughter-in-law, Rosa Roche; and grandsons Brycen, Makaio, Jayden, Marcus, and Cameron. She was predeceased by her parents Pedro and Herminia; and husband, Antonio Roche. Romelia's life was filled with joyful moments, many of which were spent listening to music, walks on the beach, and spending time with her husband.

Romelia's greatest lessons to share were to never settle and to pursue education. She was incredibly proud of her son Marvin, whom she considered to be one of her greatest accomplishments. Her legacy is a reminder for all to love and cherish their loved ones while they are still here.
