It was in about 1964, just after I was hired at Tektronix, that I was told that someone else from MIT was working for Tektronix.  His name was Rollie Siebert.  I think I looked him up, but don't remember.  In fact, I don't know if I first met Rollie at MIT or Tektronix, but I did meet him.  In any case, I was impressed, so much that I always remembered the name.

According to the obit, Rollie was a couple of years younger than I, which means he was probably at Tektronix for a summer job.

I called him once a couple of years later in Oregon to see what had happened to him because I knew he no longer worked at Tek.  I think he was then living in Portland near Metzger.

Then I lost track of him.  Sorry to hear of his death.  So very talented.
