Roland was a man of distinct attributes, deeply admired for his amiable personality and the perpetual smile that seemed to brighten the lives of those around him. He left a lasting impression on everyone he encountered, his infectious joy echoing through his every interaction.
Highly accomplished in his field, Roland held a Masters degree in Engineering. In addition to his professional achievements, he was a committed and talented bird enthusiast who successfully completed a Master birder program. His talent also extended to photography, another testament to his artistic sensibility.
A lover of the outdoors, Roland found tranquility in hiking and biking. His adventurous spirit fueled his love for travel, leading him to explore numerous far-flung corners of the world. His zest for life and his adventurous spirit were truly infectious, igniting a spark of wanderlust in all who were fortunate to know him.
Roland’s surviving family includes his caring mother, Anna Marie Kilcher. His sister, Deborah (Dave) Klamm and his nephews Michael Klamm, and Brandon {Rosa) Klamm. He is preceded in death by his father, Stanley Kilcher.
