Rolly's obituary

Roland "Rolly" F. Dore Jr. 64 of Merrimack NH passed away at his home Feb 13, 2023. Rolly was Born January 31, 1959 in Concord to Roland Sr. and Pauline Dore.  He was raised by his father after losing his mother at the age of 2. "Jr." grew up on Snow St. in Penacook. Then moved to Boscawen to raise his children, Tonya and Jason.

Rolly enjoyed hunting with his father and at times with his cousin, Stewie, fishing at Hot Hole pond, watching the Patriots dominate the NFL, watching Nascar and going to Daytona bike week.  He loved going to his brothers camp "Jim Otis" in Stewartstown NH, for camping and snow mobile weekends.

Rolly was an avid Harley Davidson road tripper. Many of his childhood friends and coworkers from Ross Express often accompanied him on these trips. In Aug. 2010 Rolly took a solo trip across the counrty on his motorcycle. 

Rolly and Lynn Balmforth married 2/26/2017, they loved traveling to Aruba, went on 3 cruises and time spent on the Harley. Lynn's children Kirstin, Andrew& Kristen, Katrina and grandchildren grew close to Rolly as well.

Rolly is survided by his daughter Tonya and his son Jason.  He was proud of his grand children, Jake for recently joining the Marine Corps.  and Jocelyn's passion for cooking.

Rolly will be missed by many and has left a lot of love in this world.  His family enjoyed his sense of humor and the time they had with him.
