I have many great memories of Mr Bruntz as my teacher and also working on the farm. I remember he wanted us to learn how to write and had us each write out instructions how to make a PB&J sandwich. Then he made sandwiches according to our directions at school. It was hilarious as Jeremy Saunders said to use green bread. He put those sandwiches together and we had such a great class. He was always a good friend to my parents. I am so sorry for his family to suffer this loss. He will be missed.

While milking cows in the old barn at Andrews U he proved to be a friend when I needed one the most. Had just received a letter from my sweetheart that she was not expected to be able to have children. I was devastated then Roland told me his and Donna's story! What a compassionate person he was! Although Roland will be missed by so many, heโ€™s finally home - and itโ€™s so comforting to know we will see him again. Iโ€™m eager to read his book; I love what Iโ€™ve read so far. Heโ€™s a gem!!
My sincere condolences to the entire Bruntz family and many prayers for continued strength. May your loved one Rest In Peace. ๐Ÿ’›
I'm so sorry for your loss. He was a great man. I remember him as my teacher and boss. Picked strawberries early in the morning when I was younger. I still remember the plays we would put on for Christmas in the All Purpose Room. Great memories. I will be in Tennessee so I won't be there for the funeral. I will be thinking of you all and you'll be in my prayers for comfort and support during this difficult time. God Bless You. โค
