Dear Family, I got to know Roger as one of his caregivers when he was hospitalized! He was a favorite of mine and other staff. So sorry for your loss. River was special, indeed.

I grew up with Roger Whitehill. I remember him growing up as a child. I grew up in the cemetary house and Roger lived across the Street with his gram. Roger was a good friend of mine. He had a heart of gold. I was shocked when my son Brian told me he passed. I am going to miss talking to him at the soup kitchen. He will be missed by all. His memory will live on in all our hearts.

May loving memories of Rodger, a brother, an uncle, a dear friend, help you find peace. Thinking of you all and wishing you strength and comfort. Know that my thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this sorrowful time. You have my deepest condolences for the loss of such a wonderful person who always brought a smile, a warm 'big' embrace, a laugh, and the message of our lord. He loved his family whole heartedly, as well as bluegrass, good home-cooked food, good fellowship, and our lord and savior Jesus Christ. He will be missed dearly by all who knew him an were fortunate to be blessed to have gotten to know an spend time with him!
