It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Roger Weidner, who was born on July 21, 1954 and left us on March 10, 2024. Roger was a beloved father, brother, uncle, and grandfather whose presence will be deeply missed by friends and family alike.

Roger leaves behind his daughter, Jessica Hitzing, his sister, Deborah Carbno, his brother in law David Carbno and his nieces, Stephanie Carbno and Kristina Robertson. His memory will live on through his grandchildren, Gavin, Madison, and Caidon Hitzing.

Roger had a deep love for the simpler things in life. He was a connoisseur of a good steak and enjoyed a beer or whiskey to relax after a long day. He possessed an insatiable love for reading and would often be found engrossed in all kinds of books. Good old rock and roll was his music of choice, and he often enjoyed watching his favorite TV show, Mash. Roger was a lifelong supporter of the Detroit Tigers and always looked forward to their games.

When not engaged in his personal enjoyment, Roger often spent his time helping friends, showcasing his kindness and compassion. It is this legacy of helping others that he leaves behind, a legacy that will inspire those who knew him to carry it forward in his memory.
