Roger Tischendorf, age 80, of Escondido, CA passed away peacefully in his home, September 27th 2019.
Roger will be dearly missed by his son, Ronald Tischendorf, grandchildren, Elizabeth Peterson, Rebecca (nee Peterson) (Joe) Laster, Dylan Krewald, great grandchildren, Izabella (nee Miller) (Jack) Petrick, Samantha Siepler, Isaiah Jones, and great great grandson, Leonardo Petrick.
Roger proceeded in death by his father, Roy Tishendorf, mother, Selma (nee Henkel) Tischendorf, son, Doug Tischendorf, and wife, Diane (nee Muehl) Tischendorf.
Roger was born April 15th 1939 in the township of Raymond, WI. He served many years helping his mother establish Kilborn Gardens as a fine dining restaurant in Racine County. Roger has had so many awards and accomplishments throughout his lifetime, one included his volunteer work with the Racine sheriff's department.
Roger also had many interests and hobbies some included, serving as a commadore at the Harbor lite yacht club, boating, stock car racing, photography, and so much more. Roger enjoyed the many blessings his life had offered and most of all he loved his family, especially his wonderful wife Diane.
A small community celebration of life will be held at his home in Escondido, Ca. A second small service will be done at a future date when Roger returns to Wisconsin to be placed in his final resting place at the Tischendorf family plot, next to his beloved wife and family at the Arlington Cemetery in Milwaukee, WI
