Background
Roger often spoke and wrote with great pride that he attended Pratt Institute. He attended Pratt in 1958-1961 graduating with a BFA in Interior Design accrediting a scholarship from the William Morris Foundation. He made his home in the Clinton Hill Neighborhood and designed the Pratt Community garden. Coordinated with Mr. Thomas Schutte, the president of Pratt at the time, and a group of volunteers to save the plot of land from real estate and provide a green space for the neighborhood.
Roger loved animals; adopting and caring for many dogs and cats over the years. ACC is New York's Largest Animal Shelter; saving 14,923+ lives in 2023. Contribute to Pratt Institute
