Roger's obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Roger Hugh Watson. Born on May 10, 1983, Roger left us on April 21, 2025. Known by many as Ears man The Redeemed, he always preferred his birth name, Roger.
Roger is survived by his Mother, Monica Stewart and father, Errol Watson, his sisters, Stacy Ann Powell, Deidre Watson, his brother, Ryan Watson, and his grandmother, Carmen Stewart. Their love for him remains unfading and their memories everlasting.
In 2002, Roger completed his high school education from Kingston College Campus, North Street, Kingston, Jamaica, and Evander High School of Computers and Technology, East Gun Hill Road, Bronx, NY. The same year he went to Monroe University, in the Bronx, NY with a degree in business.
Roger was an active member of his community. He was an attendee at Kingdom Liberty Evangelistic Ministry and volunteered at Kingdom liberty Evangelistic as a Missionary. He also made significant contributions as an organizer at Richmond Park Prep School.
Having a wide array of interests, Roger favorite food was steam fish, Roger faith was unmovable he found solace in the Word of God through the Bible, and enjoyed Divine worship songs. He appreciated art, with a particular interest in drawing and acting in drama. He was an avid supporter of the Bronx Tigers Soccer Team along with the Italy Soccer team. He enjoyed playing and watching soccer, and his preferred exercises involved soccer and push-ups. His favorite local spot was his church.
Roger invested his energies in causes close to his heart. He was notably passionate sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ winning souls for the Kingdom of God He also loved helping those less fortunate than him. His favorite colors, purple and white, are a testament to his vibrant persona.
Roger's personality was best described as funny, warm, polite, and zealous for the things of the Lord. His lessons of sharing the Good News of Salvation to all remain as a beacon of light for those who knew him.
Roger's departure leaves an irreplaceable void in our lives. May his soul find peace in eternal rest.
