Roger's obituary

Roger K Haynie II, 66, of Tucson, AZ, passed away Friday Sept. 13th 2024.

Roger was born May 11th, 1958 in Bisbee, AZ, to Roger and Vernalene Haynie. He resided in Douglas, AZ, with his late wife Angela (Guerrero) while he worked as an E.M.T, mechanic, and tow-truck driver for Wildcat Services. He was a volunteer firefighter, a scout master, and an active member of the LDS church.

He settled in Tucson, AZ, with wife Debra (Perez), for the last 32 years. He was a professional driver and became disabled. He was a kind and helpful member of the community, who will be greatly missed.

Roger was preceeded in death by his mother Vernalene, and his late wife Angela. He is survived by his wife Debra, his father Roger Sr., his 6 siblings Walter(Christina) Haynie, Dee Homer, Rena Lopez, Clinton(Barbara) Haynie, Byron Haynie, and Kelly Fahrendorff, his 4 children Jessica(Evie) Buell, Koy(Melanie) Hardt, MaryAnn(Terrence) Markel, and M. Andrew Haynie, and his 11 grandchildren.

A viewing/rosary will be held at Funeraria del Angel Mortuary @ 7 E University Blvd, Tucson, AZ 85705, on Friday Sep. 27th from 6pm-8pm.

Services will be held at the LDS Church @ 105 N Norton Ave, Tucson, AZ 85719 on Saturday Sep. 28th. A family viewing will begin at 8am, with service starting at 9am. Afterward, he will be transported to Douglas. Burial/ Cemetery services will begin at 1pm at Calvary Cemetary @ 1332 E 3rd St, Douglas, AZ 85607.
