Roger's obituary
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Roger Fournier who left us on May 3, 2024. Born to Real and Juliette Fournier on December 22, 1946, Roger lived a joyful and fulfilling life, and his memory will continue in the hearts of all who knew him.
Roger is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Rejeanne Fournier. Together, they found joy in the simple things. Their regular date nights at the Candlelight Inn were a cherished tradition. Roger loved camping, swimming, fishing, and grilling on the BBQ.
The proud father to daughters Tina (David) Artigliere, and Tanya Scheeler, Roger also took great delight in his role as grandfather to Ethan and Blake Scheeler. He was also a cherished brother to Richard (Paule) Fournier, Lucie Fournier, and beloved uncle to Marlene Vallee and Audrey Fournier. He was predeceased by his sisters, Martine Cronin and Michele Richard. Buddy & Moe, his favorite dogs, will also miss him.
Roger was known for his generosity and his loving nature. He was stubborn but with good intentions and he was also quite the jokester, lighting up the room with his humor and bright personality. His laughter and love will continue to echo in our hearts and memories.
A celebration of Roger's life will take place on November 8, 2024, at 11 AM at the Ruskin Methodist Church. We invite all who knew and loved Roger to join us in honoring his memory. His spirit, his laughter, and his love will remain with us always.
