Roger's obituary
September 29, 1967 – November 10, 2024
Age 57
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Roger Fiedler, who left us unexpectedly on November 10, 2024, at the age of 57. Roger was a loving father, son, brother, and friend whose passion for music, the outdoors, and his family shaped his life in profound ways. His spirit and warmth will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Born on September 29, 1967, to Robert Edward Fiedler and Carla Leslie Bubolz, Roger was raised in a family that instilled in him a love for life, creativity, and the simple joys of nature. From an early age, Roger developed a profound passion for music, which stayed with him throughout his life. Whether playing his guitar, drums or clarinet, Roger’s love for music brought him peace, expression, and connection with those around him.
Roger found immense joy in exploring the natural world, and he cherished his time spent visiting local spots like Holy Hill, Horseshoe Lake, and Mary Knoll Park. These places brought him a sense of calm, and he often enjoyed taking walks or simply sitting in silence, appreciating the beauty that nature had to offer.
Roger was the devoted father of three children who were his pride and joy—Madison Carla Fiedler, Nicholas Frederick Fiedler, and Morgan Olivia Fiedler. His love for his children knew no bounds, and he took great care in supporting them through every stage of their lives. He leaves behind not only his children but also a legacy of love, laughter, and a deep appreciation for family.
Roger was also a devoted companion to his beloved dogs, Scooby and Sky, who brought him immense comfort and joy. His bond with them was a source of happiness and loyalty that added to the warmth of his home. Additionally, Roger shared his life with his loving girlfriend, Karen Arndt. Their relationship was built on mutual respect, love, and countless shared memories, and Karen’s support and companionship were integral to Roger’s happiness.
Roger is survived by his loving mother, Carla Leslie Bubolz; his father, Robert Edward Fiedler; his sister, Marie Jones; his brothers, Edward Fiedler and Raymond Fiedler; as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family members. Roger’s family meant the world to him, and his love for them was evident in every interaction.
A memorial service to celebrate Roger's life will be held at Church and Chapel, 7626 W Greenfield Ave, West Allis, WI, on Monday, November 18, 2024. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, followed by a service starting at 3:00 pm.
Roger’s memory will live on through the music he created, the adventures he embarked upon, and the love he shared with his family and friends. He was a kind, compassionate soul whose presence brightened the lives of those around him. While his loss is immeasurable, we take comfort in knowing that his spirit will continue to inspire and guide us.
Rest in peace, Roger. You will forever be loved and missed.
