To the Baur Family.
I normally don't express my feelings on social media but I wanted you guys to know how special Roger and Bessie Lou was to us. I am truly sad to hear this news. Roger and Bess were the absolute definition of good kind souls. I lived across the street from them for many years . I was so Grateful for them always being there for me and at the time my small children. Roger always looked after us and was always ready to Holler kind words across the street every time he saw me.
Even though time has gone by there are some people that God puts in your life that have a such lasting impression and such a impact on your life you will not ever forget. I Thank you God for putting Roger and Bess on our life for many year.
I will never forget you Roger and still think about you often.

Roger Baur was one of the best Texas Aggies (and I have known and know a lot of Texas Aggies), finest friends, best employees and wonderful people I have ever known!!!
I first met Roger in a Dale Carnegie course in 1974. We hired Roger to work for us in Petropak shortly thereafter. That was one of the best decisions we ever made and operating our company and developing a strong, lifelong relationship i.e. friendship. When we closed that business, Roger stayed on with us for a while as we opened another business and then decided to go into business for himself. My partner and I never lost contact with Roger and helped him as much as we could to develop his new business. I treasure my friendship with Roger Baur beyond all words I can describe. He was a great person a great husband, a great father great grandfather, uncle and a justly proud Vietnam veteran!
Now he’s suffering is over and he can be united with his beloved Bessie again🩷👍👍👍🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Rest well and goodbye😊

It was such an honor and privilege to have Roger and Bessie as my neighbors and close friends for more than thirty years. They were surrogate grandparents to my sons.
The stories I could tell (like everyone else that knew and loved them)! When I think of them a smile automatically comes to my face and lots of laughter remembering all the shared times.
Rest in peace. You both blessed so many people for so many years.
I miss you both.
