Rogie's obituary

After a difficult battle with diabetes complications and dementia, Rogie Peralta passed away peacefully on April 13, 2021 surrounded by her daughter Mayee, granddaughter Erin and grandson Nathan. Minette and Ryan were with them via FaceTime.

Born in Baguio City to Patricio and Paterna Castillano, Rogie was described as a bundle of joy and laughter. Rogie was passionate about dancing from a very young age and participated in countless dance activities over the years.
In 1971 Rogie met Sonny at Philex Mines and immediately fell in love. They went on to be married for 32 years and had three children together.

Rogie was a fiercely tenacious and strong mother, raising equally tenacious/strong children. Rogie was our biggest cheerleader and our constant supporter. Our family would not be where it is today if we didn’t have Rogie as a mother.

Rogie was predeceased by Sonny, her husband, brothers Mauro & Joseph. She leaves behind her siblings Roger, Reggie and Tessie, daughters Minette, Mayee and son Ryan.
