On our 71st Birthday (2018) in Baguio City, Philippines. I (from Germany), had a month-long vacation.
In response to "When was the last time you spent time with Rogie?"
The death of my twin sister kept our family, closer together through a 9 day Novena Zoom family prayer for the dead. Some of my relatives are residing in New Zealand, Georgia, Florida, California, Germany and different parts of the Philippines. Because of the initiative of her 3 talented siblings, is the event successful. My twinsister and her husband (who died earlier) were buried together in a well-known cemetery i n the Baguio City, Philippines. Inspite of pandemic and the time difference, thank you to all who joined in the mass offering and Novena Prayer.
In response to "What did you learn from Rogie?"
To Peralta family,

In the loss of someone so special in your life
Warm thoughts are with you now and in the days ahead.

Jesus wept the angels cried, all heaven mourned when your loved one died. During this time, we are asking you and your family with grace and keep you guys in his care. 🙏🙏🙏❤️

Love,

Ninang Rogie and Ninong Sonny are one of my favourite godparents! Growing up, I saw that they were a great couple. They loved dancing, that is for sure.

When daddy was in ICU (his last day), i texted Ninong and they both came to see daddy. They were both classmates in the dialysis unit at BGH. I will never forget this so THANK YOU.

The last time I saw ninang was during mama’s 70th. She was quite “different.” But now I know why. But she was and will always be one of my fave ninangs 😘

Video from November 2019, when dementia was starting to take over. It was through music that we made a special connection. LOL “Darling you can love two and still be true”

We had known Mommy Gie for a short period of time through her daughter Minette. She is very vibrant but refined, likes to dress up, lipstick ready and loves to dance. She will coax you until you until you’re both in the dance floor. She is a great listener and readily to give advice when you need it. Have a safe journey Mommy Gie. You could rest now. 🙏🥰

Auntie Rogie, I remember your story about giving birth to Minette. You told her to wait until the next day so her birthday is the same as your wedding anniversary. Thanks for the fond memories ❤️
