Background
My dad had been fighting small cell neuroendocrine carcinoma since December of last year. It's one of the most aggressive forms of cancer and responds to treatment by spreading, needless to say, as hard as my daddy fought it took him pretty fast. We thought he had life insurance but now the insurance company isn't wanting to pay out. The AIG life insurance company sent us a check for a dollar. Now it's been over 2 weeks and my daddy still hasn't been cremated. I spent the last year taking care of him, which was more than a full time job. I am way beyond thankful for that time I got with him but I wasnt able to work and take care of him. So now I'm having to come up with the money to cremated him, plus $75 a day for every day that they hold him in storage. My daddy meant the world to me I'm just not financially stable in any way shape or form so I am unable to pay for the cremation.
