I met Rodney in the summer of 1989. It was at the Hopewell Moose Pool when it reopened.. You could count on him being there every weekend & with his son Derek. Not sure how old Derek was but I know he was young.. All I know was that Rodney always made sure Derek came first & he was his pride & joy..  I would always enjoy both of them coming to the pool.. Sometimes Rodney would tell Derek he couldn't get something to snack on or to eat, Derek would say Pat's working I can get what I want.. That's was  true.. During the summer's my friend Patsy Marshall  & I would go watch Rodney play ball. Something he enjoyed doing.. After the game the ball team came to the pool and cool off. We all had some great times & great memories at the moose pool..  Rodney & I kept up with each other through FB.  My daughter Becky worked with Rodney at Pre Con. He  was a great person & friend.. He will be remembered by his family & friends. My thoughts & prayers are with Derek & family, also with his sister's & there families.. I met Rodney on Facebook many many years ago and we’ve been friends on Facebook ever since. We’ve never met up but we have talked about it. He was such a good man and I’m so sorry for your loss!
