Rodney Gene Drown, 82, made his peaceful transition early Christmas morning, 2018, at Avita of Stroudwater in Westbrook, Maine, his loving home for the last 4 ½ years. Rod, known to many as “Joe,” was born on March 20, 1936, in Barton, Vermont and grew up in West Charleston, the son of Gladys Smith and Carl Drown.
