Roderikus's obituary

Roderikus  L. Jackson, 42, of Autaugaville, AL, peacefully passed away on Thursday, February 02, 2023 after a long battle with renal (kidney) failure and diabetes at Jackson Hospital in Montgomery, AL surrounded by family and loved ones.


Born in Montgomery, Alabama to the late Rod and Sara Jackson, Roderikus was a smart, funny, and curious young man  He was fiercely passionate about working on electrical appliances and devices and dedicated his life to both his pursuit of a successful business and his family.

After he graduated, Roderikus landed his first job as a electrician This kickstarted his career and passion for electrical work and starting his own small business. Roderikus put family first, always, and was a dedicated father to his 2 sons Samuel Frazier and Joshua Jackson. Roderikus was a strong, kind, loving, and supportive father. His knowledge and guidance was the foundation of his family.

Roderikus was also a passionate fisher and always loved being on the water, in his boat on beautiful sunny day.  Roderikus was predeceased by his loving parents(Freddie and Eloise Jackson), grandparents (Michael and Suze Jackson) and brother(Rod Jackson II), and he leaves behind 2 loving sons Sam Frazier and Joshua Jackson (both residents of Orlando, Florida) and 2 loving and devoted sisters (Ola B. Jackson and Lasundra Palmer both of Prattville,  Alabama) 2 loving brothers (Tony and Tyrone Jackson (both of Montgomery,  Alabama),  a host of nieces and nephews,  cousins, friends, employees, and customers. Graveside services will be held  Saturday, February 18th at Greenwood Cemetery 1603 Greenwood St. Orlando, FL 32801 at 10:30 am, and the family requests no donations or flowers be sent.
