In profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Mr. Roderick Young, a truly remarkable man whose life was characterized by kindness, love, and a contagious sense of humor. Born on June 18, 1968, Roderick left us too soon on November 25, 2023.

Roderick leaves behind his beloved spouse, Latasha Young, who remained his steadfast companion throughout their shared journey. His love for Latasha was an enduring testament of his deep capacity for loyalty and unconditional love. He also leaves behind his loving mother, Robbie Young Sneed, his two sons Ke’von Amier Young and Cameron Mikel Young.  

Anyone who knew Roderick would fondly remember his affinity for culinary delights, with Pizza being his all-time favorite. He enjoyed a chilled bottle of Bud Ice, his drink of choice to unwind after a long day. He was an avid San Francisco 49ers fan and never missed a chance to cheer them on, demonstrating his team spirit.

Artistically inclined, Roderick held a deep affection for the classic film, Scarface. A man of various interests, he loved to engage in games of Pool, an activity that brought him immense joy and relaxation.

More than anything, Roderick was a family man. His most cherished recreational activity was spending precious time with his mother and sons. His funny, loving, and kind personality never failed to create a joyous environment for everyone in his company.

Among the numerous accomplishments in his life, becoming a father was Roderick's proudest moment. His legacy, one of kindness and love, will continue to inspire and guide those left behind. He taught us to always be kind to others, a mantra he lived by.

The void left by Roderick's departure can never be filled. His memory, however, will continue to shine brightly in our hearts. We take solace in knowing that his laughter, love, and kindness will resonate through eternity, reminding us of a life beautifully lived.
