Our deepest condolences from the Guzman family. Her memory will forever be in our hearts.

My condolences to Shelly's family. I first met Shelly when I moved upstate and we became like a family from day 1 especially Nick and my son became best friends instantly. She will always be in my heart ❤️ 🙏🙏

I have many stories I can share but most have to stay between Sue, me and my mom! But I can say I spent almost every day with Sue and Shelly and we had a blast no matter what we did just sitting in the house , going out to eat or going shopping ( Sue that’s one memory I will never forget lol) she was so much fun being around I don’t think anyone has ever made me laugh as hard as she did sometimes I didn’t know if we were laughing with her or at her cause the things that would come out of her mouth were hysterical and especially how Sue and Shelly would go at it. Even when I was pregnant with my second child she didn’t want to come out and I was huge over due I’ll never forget them coming over Shelly stayed with my mom and Sue made me walk and said we will walk until this baby is ready to come it didn’t happen that day but a couple days later it was time and Sue and Shelly came to the hospital besides everyone else in my room and we were having a party the nurses must have thought we were nuts but Shelly was always by my side like a second mother (by the way Sue is her godmother) I haven’t seen Shelly in a long time because I winded up moving back to Queens  and I wish before they moved from there I would have went there to see her more. Shelly will always be in my heart and knowing she is at peace. I always said wish I could go back to those days. Till we meet again 🙏🙏💔

I put family because they are  family and it doesn’t always have to be by blood.

Sue I have many memories of your mom with my mom when we were growing up, and her sometimes giving out the straight talk, no nonsense approach to us kids that my mother would not have but always with a humorous edge.  As you said in your beautiful eulogy Shelly had a great zest for life and and a joyful, fun sense of humor that would always make you smile when you interacted with her which was my experience any time I saw her, including later in life as an adult as well.  May she Rest In Peace now with your father.  God bless her soul, as well as you and Nicholas.
Sue…I have so many memories of Shelly from when we we’re kids in the Bronx right up to hanging out in Pompton Lakes where she laughed so hard she couldn’t control herself. She had a laugh that I will never forget and she was always the life of the party! She will always be with you. We love you and Nick!

Dear Sue, I am so sorry to hear of your mom’s passing.   I met her a few times and she always put a smile on my face with her witty charm.   My thought and prayers are with you and your family.

I was so sorry to hear about Shelly's passing. She was such a firecracker who gave a warm welcome and always made me laugh. God bless and may she rest in peace, or party, whichever she chooses.
